Foxconn to use Nvidia Chips, in a joint statement by Chipmaker Nvidia Corp and Electronics Manufacturer Foxconn announced a partnership to develop Autonomous Vehicle. Taiwanese manufacturer Foxconn said they will manufacture Electronic Control Units for cars based on Nvidia's chip made specifically for computing in Autonomous Vehicles.
Companies developing Electric and autonomous Cars have struggled to bring products to the market as they are facing the issues of rising costs and difficulties in increasing their production. Market opportunity of $300 billion in the automotive sector and reported revenue of $251 million in the third quarter from the segment.
