Google’s Parent Alphabet is cutting 12,000 jobs as it faces a difficult economic situation, it said in a statement, giving more focus on Artificial Intelligence (AI).
The job cuts affect 6% of its workforce & follows thousands of layoffs at tech giants, which includes Amazon.com Inc., Microsoft Corp. & Meta Platforms Inc. which are also downsizing.
